Purely by chance

Random mutation moves in strange ways in the next illustration, almost by divine will, certain selected group of individuals are composed inside a light wooden frame at a picture framing shop in Siena. It came upon me purely by chance as they say.

The toddler girl talking to the poodle is yet to learn about the power of feelings but in the picture everyone else is intensely feeling something for someone else creating a web of criss crossing tensions in the room which the powerful feelings of mutual affection are creating between the characters, including ostensibly the young Tennyson and Dickens, there to meet a certain Miss Hogarth.
