I guess it has been a while now since I borrowed a wad of prints from my friend Aelred Spencer with the promise to have them published on the web. This process has now started. So please keep returning to appreciate the subtle exposures so effectively capturing the feeling of being in the Roman Light and by extension immersed in that unique balmy air.

I scanned all the photograph prints in series as they appeared to me as I went through the wad, overwhelmed sometimes by the nostalgia of how photography used to be. Upon realising that I was seeing some of these shots for the first time, I felt glad that I finally got them together. I saved them for the web directly from the original scans without adjusting brightness and contrast. I shall duly restitute the photographs to Aelred. In the meantime, please proceed:
